We are very excited to unveil the SLS Band Challenge!
We have recruited 8 fantastic local groups to take part in a number of challenges over the next few months with the overall winning band earning a paid slot at the Swanage Carnival 2017... and the winners will be determined by YOU!
The Swanage Carnival is one of the best carnivals of it's kind in the country, with thousands of people travelling to the small seaside town every year to enjoy the many goings on, including the fantastic live music on offer.

MUSIC IN TRANSLATION
CHALLENGE #1 - CHRISTMAS COVER
The first challenge we have thrown out to our bands is to create a UNIQUE cover version of a Christmas classic of their choice.
The bands have until Monday 12th December to send us their finished songs which will then go to a public vote where YOU will decide who receive points for their efforts (top 3 voted bands will receive points).
